Our Bioinformatics Grand Rounds are designed to provide a broad overview to the community of translational researchers of the solutions offered by the biomedical informatics community and its methodological armamentarium. In these public discussions, we have highlighted the extent to which these solutions do not yet exist or are in development. The scope of this series runs the entire gamut of biomedical informatics as applied to clinical research, including national computational infrastructure, privacy policy and consent, genomic measurement techniques and pharmacogenomics.  Please note that for the past two years and reflecting the burgeoning national and international interest in our work, we have served the community through national symposia (see Events Page) instead of the more local Grand Rounds.  The Grand Rounds presentations are available for viewing by webcast at the indicated links .
